The Parkvilla Academy for chidren aged 5 (born 2003), 6 (2002), and 7 (2001) continues on Saturday 13th of September 2008 in Claremont Stadium at 11 am - 12 noon for 7 y.o. Registration Day Registration day on Saturday 23rd August. 11am - 1pm at Claremont Stadium. All players currently playing or who have signed recently must register on the day.
All new players will receive a gift on the day. Registration is €50 which works out at less than €1 per week per year, a small price to pay for your kids enjoyment and safety.
Parkvilla Academy
The highly succesful Parkvilla Academy will be running again soon, all interested players both U5's and U6's (born 2002 and 2003) who would like to play in a friendly and expertly coached enviroment where the childs welfare is of upmost importance in our family orientated club. Please come and register your child on our Academy registration day Saturday 23rd August 2008, 11am - 12pm.

MDL Small Sided Game.
We will be entering as usual into the highly enjoyable MDL small sided games played on Saturday mornings in the MDL grounds Trim road.
All players who are U7, U8 and U9 (born 2001, 2000, 1999) who would like to take part please attend our registraion day on Saturday 23rd August 2008 between 11am & 1pm at Claremont Stadium. Players who played last year must also attend.
It is important that parents are present to sign any documentation that may be required for children under the age of 18.
A membership form can be filled out online
and then you need only pay the fees on the day so saving you time.

The death has occured tragically, following an accident of Michael Walsh. Michaels' son Keith played for Parkvilla schoolboys and also the first and reserve teams up to a couple of seasons ago and on behalf of everyone at the club we would like to offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to Keith and his family on their tragic loss. Michael is reposing at his residence, The Elms, Beaufort Place, Navan. Removal on Monday morning to St. Oliver's Church, Blackcastle, Navan, for 11am Mass. Burial immediately afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Navan. May he Rest In Peace.
The Parkvilla Reserve team has been re-formed this year and have been accepted for entry to the Meath & District League in Division Two. Vernon (Sammy) Savage has been appointed as Manager and his assistant will be Davy McGovern. 'Sammy' is a former player and assistant manager with Parkvilla before going on to have a successful spell as Manager with local side OMP Utd. We are delighted to have Sammy & Davy on board. Players wishing to join can attend pre-season training on July 10th at 7-30pm. Note: The reserve team will be playing home matches on Friday nights and away matches mostly on Sundays.

The Annual Awards Presentation night will take place on Friday 9th May 2008 in Claremont Stadium at 9pm. Musical entertainment will be provided by Ms. Maraid O'Dowd of RTE 'You're A Star' fame and sandwiches will be provided.
It is with regret that we learned of the passing of Matthew 'Matty' Brady father of Yvonne Brady. Yvonne is Asst. Secretary and a player with Parkvilla Ladies and we wish Yvonne and her family our deepest condolences and sympathy at this difficult time. Funeral arrangements: Reposing at his residence from 6pm on Sunday evening. Removal on Monday, leaving his residence at 6.30pm, arriving at Moynalty Church at 7pm. Funeral on Tuesday, after 11am Mass, to Moynalty Cemetery. May Matty Rest in Peace.
The race night was successful and we would like to thank all those that sponsored races also horses, jockeys & owners and in particular those that supported the event on the night. It was a satisfactory turnout on the night and it is hoped that those and many more will attend the next event whenever that may be. Shannon McDonagh & Sarah Wogan were chosen for the Ireland Reserves to play
Ireland 1st team on Sunday 20 January 2008 at Oriel Park, Dundalk. We would like
to congratulate the girls on their achievement.
The reserve team has been withdrawn from the LSL, this is due to a lack of
players attending training and making themselves available for away matches on
Saturdays. It is the intention of the club to appoint a new Manager / Coach next
season and re-enter the league.
A major
fund raising effort has begun with both Parkvilla FC and Navan AC putting
greater commitment into the selling of the Claremont Stadium weekly Lotto
tickets. Priced at just €2 each with a potential jackpot of €4,000 they are
great value. The draw takes place each Tuesday night in the club. Tickets are
available from all committee members, team managers and selected sellers.
